Serves: 2-3 people
Ingredients:
5 tbsp butter
2 chicken breasts, cut into small bite sized pieces
1/2 red onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp garam marsala
1 tsp turmeric
1 cup passata
3/4 cup heavy cream
salt to taste
OPTIONAL: basmati rice, naan bread, and cilantro for serving
Instructions:
In a deep pan melt butter over medium low heat. Add the chicken and cook just until no longer pink. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes, until onion is starting to look translucent. Stir in the spices for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the passata and cream and simmer together about 7 minutes. Season with salt and enjoy!
